Bronte Holland fundraiser
On February 13 this year, one of Australia's brightest future motocross talents, 19-year old Bronte Holland, was seriously injured while training for the Australian Supercross championship. He broke several vertebrae, which resulted in spinal cord bruising, leaving him without feeling from the chest down.
Southside Promotions, together with friends, fans and sponsors of Bronte have put together a fundraiser auction night for Bronte. Scheduled for July 20, at Cranbourne (VIC) racecourse, organisers of the night hope to bring corporate Australia, the motocross industry and close friends of Bronte all together to raise money for a great cause and help in giving him the best opportunity possible to prepare for life outside rehab and, eventually, get back on his feet again.
Chad Reed, Ricky Carmichael, James "Bubba" Stewart and Travis Pastrana are among many local and international MX riders who have agreed to provide jerseys, goggles and other items for the auction. Yamaha Australia will also provide a brand new, GYTR-kitted TTR50 for the auction.
Bronte will be there, and is looking forward to catching up with al his friends and adversaries from the Aussie motocross & supercross world. Tickets for the event are $35 per person, available from Adam Bailey of Southside Promotions. Ph: 0412 686 148.
