BMW R nineT and S 1000 R naked set for local debut
The retro-style, multi-optional naked 'R nineT' will be joined by a stripped version of BMW's potent S 1000 RR sportsbike, the 'S 1000 R naked Sports', which will also be making its Australian debut at the Sydney event.
R nineT
A tribute to BMW's 90 years of motorcycle production, the R nineT is a unique motorcycle that captures the exhilaration of riding. The new roadster features a 'minimalist' design, pared back to the basics, but with a range of factory accessories that offer plenty of scope for customisation.
The roadster has distinctive design cues from the past with beautifully crafted components that create a motorcycle expressing stylish individuality. See more on the BMW R nineT here.
S 1000 R naked Sports
Another EICMA debutante set to go on show in Sydney is the BMW S 1000 R naked Sports machine.
Sharing its DNA with the race inspired BMW S 1000 RR, the S 1000 R will place BMW Motorrad squarely in the high performance naked bike market.
General Manager BMW Motorrad Australia, Tony Sesto is excited about bringing the new models to Sydney.
"We are excited to present these two new models to the Australian motorcycling public in Sydney. BMW Motorrad will continue to introduce new and exciting motorcycles in various market segments.
"The BMW R nineT and BMW S 1000 R are integral in this ongoing development and we are delighted to be able to launch them in Sydney."
