BMW launch ‘SoulFuel Escape’ event
BMW Motorrad Australia have launched an all-new ride programme for owners and enthusiasts of BMW’s R 18 and R nineT Heritage models.

Dubbed “SoulFuel Escape” the Heritage motorcycle road trip is a four-day, five-night guided ride that starts in Windsor in Sydney’s north west on 2 March and finishes in Port Macquarie on 6 March.
SoulFuel Escape takes in the Hawkesbury Valley, Bathurst, Tamworth and the Hunter Valley en route to Port Macquarie in what’s described as a “back to basics” tour where riders can enjoy the open road.

Participants won’t be roughing it, though, with premium accommodation each night, breakfast and dinner each day, plus full technical and luggage support, lead and sweep riders for each day’s planned route and “custom experience activities,” too.
Each participant will also receive a personalised event pack from BMW Motorrad Australia.

While SoulFuel Escape is only open to the R 18 and R nineT, it’s not limited to R 18 owners, as BMW Motorrad Australia can provide a limited number of R 18 hire bikes for the duration of the event.
Andreas Lundgren, General Manager of BMW Motorrad Australia, says SoulFuel Escape will be an ideal way to celebrate BMW’s heritage line-up.
“Every detail of this event has been designed to complement the special qualities of our heritage R 18 cruiser and R nineT,” says Lundgren.
“It comes at a time when open road cruising on a brilliant route will be more welcome than ever before.”

Registration for SoulFuel Escape opened on 27 January, with only 30 places available. Entry is $3,999 per person for a single package, or $4,899 for the ‘2 Up’ two-person package. R 18 hire (limited to 12 units) is an additional $1,000.
