Aussie 'Dream Team' to ride at 2012 LeMinz Scooterthon
Three-time World Superbike champ Bayliss will share the riding duties with three-time World Speedway champion Jason Crump and multiple Guinness World Record holder Mark 'Brownie' Brown in the TGB Scooters squad, riding the TGB Bullet RS 50 against 25 other teams in the demanding scooter endurance test.
The TGB Bullet RS 50 boasts 13-inch wheels, front and rear disc brakes, and a zippy 2_stroke 50cc engine. The Bullet RS 50 also features modern sports styling, large helmet storage and rock solid reliability, supported by a 2 Year Factory Warranty.
In the 2011 24 hour Scooterthon, Mark Brown, on a TGB Tapo 50, rewrote the history books riding the most kilometres ever on a 50cc scooter in 24 hours. Over the course of the race, the Tapo covered 1189.685 kilometres _ an outstanding effort, smashing the previous record of 1178.76 kilometres.
This year's 24 hour Scooterthon will be presented by TGB Scooters and the Australian Motorcycle & Scooter Expo Gold Coast (which will take place in February, 2013). The Scooterthon also raises funds for local charity 'Give me 5 for kids.'
Other riders signed up for the 24-hour scooter race include former MotoGP rider Garry McCoy and multiple Under 21 Speedway champ Darcy Ward, with others to be announced.
The LeMinz Scooterthon takes place at Gold Coast Parklands Showgrounds from midday on Saturday, December 8, running through to midday on Sunday, December 9. Additional information can be found at www.facebook.com/leminzscooterthon
