AMCA Virtual Auction Preview 02 – Indian
COVID-19 hasn’t stopped the Bulli Antique Motorcycle Weekend from happening this year as the AMCA reinvent the show as a virtual event.
Many of the attractions from past years’ weekends will continue in virtual form, including the auction, which is open now for pre-bidding ahead of the official online auction from 2:00PM (AEST) on Saturday, 29 August.
Conducted by Manshed Auctions, there are 175 lots on offer, covering a wealth of pre-1985 motorcycle spare parts, accessories, magazines, race programmes and other collectables.
There are more than 20 classic bikes up for grabs, too, covering Harley-Davidson, Indian, Suzuki, Kawasaki, BSA and Moto Guzzi, to name a few.

1915 Indian Hedstrom racer – Lot 1
Described as being in close-to-complete condition, with only minor parts missing, this 680cc racing twin has many new parts fitted, including the fuel tank, clutch, footboards, but retains the original frame, engine and selected cycle parts.
Guiding range for this near complete pre-WWI Indian is $25,000 - $35,000

1942 Indian Scout – Lot 4
No details on this Scout have been provided beyond the fact it’s running a 500cc engine, which places it in the ‘thirty-fifty’ era leading up to World War II when the Scout was offered in both 30ci (492cc) and 50ci (820cc), as well as the more familiar 37ci (610cc) and 45ci (740cc) forms.
The bike appears complete, with what looks to be a number of new or refurbished parts, but its running condition is unknown. Guiding range is $29,000 - $32,000.
The Manshed Antique Motorcycle Auction commences from 2:00PM on Saturday, 29 August, 2020.
