50cc Bug Super 9
The Bug Jive has been the number one selling scooter in Australia to the end of September 2006, according to official industry figures. The new Super 9 has a recommended retail price of $2,999 plus on-road costs, and features sleek sports styling, an efficient 50cc two-stroke engine and a fully automatic CVT transmission.
It also boasts ample underseat storage space, push-button electric start, sports windscreen, alloy rear grab rail and comes with a 12-month warranty.
"Thanks to its contemporary sports styling, the introduction of the Super 9 offers buyers even more choice in the 50cc market," said Peter Lynch, managing director of Bug Scooters.
"In many states of Australia, the 50cc segment is the all-important entry level for many first time scooter buyers, and we believe the Bug Super 9 will play an important role in attracting more people to the scooter market."
The Bug Super 9 will be available at the end of December in four different colours; Rocket Red/Stealth Black, Platinum Silver/Stealth Black, and Racing Yellow/Blue.
"Bug Scooter's success has been built on offering a range of reliable, highly affordable scooters and the Super 9 will build on that reputation which Bug has earned amongst its customers," Mr Lynch said. Bug Scooters are available through 55 dealers around Australia. The Bug range of scooters features 10 models from 50cc through to 250cc.
Mr Lynch said that he will be launching three more new Bug Scooter models in 2007. For more information on Bug scooters and Kymco ATVs, or to locate your nearest Bug dealer, visit: www.bugscooters.com
