25 Years of Suzuki GSX-R
The GSX-R legend began in 1985 with the launch of the GSX-R750, which created a new 'racer replica' category and lived up to Suzuki's "own the racetrack" racing heritage.
The GSX-R750 was soon joined by the GSX-R1100 in 1986, followed by the GSX-R600 in 1997. In 2001 as capacity for racing classes evolved, Suzuki launched the GSX-R1000 and instantly started winning more championships.
Suzuki claim the GSX-R1000 is the ultimate fusion of performance and design and the 25th Anniversary Edition model encapsulates this with exclusive graphics and colours. Complementing the GSX-R1000's smooth looks are unique 25th anniversary GSX-R logos on the bodywork, and intricate laser-processed pinstripes on the rims of the front and rear wheels. The left and right side mufflers also feature striking "25th Anniversary Edition" graphics.
With only 60 units available in Australia out of a limited 1,000 models produced globally, the GSX-R1000 25th Anniversary Edition comes with its own individual serial number plate on the yoke and exclusive GSX-R ignition keys.
