2014 MotoGP provisional calendar released
The two new additions are Argentina and Brazil, rounds 3 and 15 respectively. The latter will take place at the new Termas de Rio Hondo circuit, but is still subject to homologation by the FIM.
The 2014 season gets underway in Qatar on March 23, and concludes in Valencia on November 9: traditional season opening and closing rounds. The championship increases from 18 to 19 rounds for 2014.
After occupying the third last round for 2013, the Australian round at Phillip Island will be the penultimate round for 2014.
