2012 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-14R ABS
Powered by a new 1441 cc four-cylinder DOHC power-plant, when compared to its predecessor the new engine offers more torque at all rpm and substantially more power in the mid-high range. Acceleration from 4000 rpm and up is notably stronger. Torque is strong enough to pull away from lights in almost any gear, and at 2000 rpm there is 9.5 kgf.m of torque available, with this figure jumping significantly from 3000 rpm; however fuel economy is not sacrificed with the new model's fuel consumption eight percent better than its predecessor.
Kawasaki TRaction Control offers three Modes (plus 'off') that cover a wide range of conditions; and two-stage Power Mode selection offers Full Power and Low Power (about 75 percent of Full). Optimised ABS settings improve ABS performance on bumpy road conditions.
The new 2012 Ninja ZX-14R is also easier to ride thanks to a slimmer seat front facilitating an easier reach to the ground. In addition, the convenient multi-function button on the handle enables scrolling through LCD modes without removing a hand from the grip. The new Ninja ZX-14R arrives in January 2012.
