2011 BMW K 1600 GTL

During coming months the new bike will go on a national tour, visiting selected BMW dealers nation-wide.
For BMW enthusiasts there is plenty to get excited about, with the K 1600 GTL introducing a new transversely mounted, lightweight, compact in-line 6-cylinder engine. The smooth 6-cylinder engine produces 118kW of power and maximum torque of 175Nm. Over 70 percent of the maximum torque is available from 1500 rpm.
The heavy-duty tourer features a host of standard safety gear, including ABS and traction control. The suspension set-up can be varied, with three modes to choose from depending on climatic conditions. Electronic Suspension Adjustment (ESA II) is also available for optimum adaptation to all uses and load states and road conditions.
