The Monster 900 is strong on personality and style that re-interprets the term 'naked bike'. The Monster was first introduced in 1994 and started a trend towards unfaired bikes. Unlike much of the opposition in this category, Ducati have not compromised on technology in the Monster, with much derived from Ducati's superbike machinery. The tubular trellis frame has rising rate rear suspension and brakes and suspension are of premium quality. It features a hydraulic clutch for slick gear changes and gives an excellent feel. This bike has awesome stopping power with huge 320mm front disc rotors, with twin 4 piston Brembo calipers and a twin piston at rear. The carbon fibre instrument panel has white face gauges and there is a removable rear cowl for pillion seating. This bike has 2006 compliance and is perfect for a relaxing all day ride with ample ability for a quick fang through the hills. It is a pure breed Italian sports bike with retro flare. Best of all this bike is virtually just run in with only 990 kms on the clock.
