The GS500 has a very smooth power delivery across the entire torque range, with peak power around 6.5k RPM. (Key to not getting yourself killed especially on the corners). The GS500 also provides excellent value, and even moreso when considering its power to weight ratio compared to other Learner alternatives.
Also plenty of long term rideability in the GS500 should you decide not to upgrade, which makes for a very good all round commuter. The GS500 has a high fuel efficiency (less than $20 to fill up 15-16L for 350km). Simple and established design means parts are cheap and readily available from virtually any dealer or bike shop, as well as cheaper servicing costs. In fact if you're keen, self-service is easily doable and recommended to gain a further depth of knowledge of your bike. Bike comes with Clymer manual (see below).
Selling due to an upgrade.
The bike has been knocked over a couple of times due to some unfortunate parking mishaps and has some cosmetic scratches. Otherwise regularly maintained with last service done in November 2014 (including oil & filter change, brake fluid change, fork oil and seals, and new spark plugs).
