Beautiful example of a Ducati 900SS bevel. This bike was complianced in June 1982, and sold through Gowanlochs in Sydney. I bought it in 1994 and rode it regularly until the early 2000s when it was parked due to suspected main bearing failure. A couple of years ago I pulled it out of storage and began the process to meticulously rebuild it to its former glory without losing any of the patina of a 44 year old bike with an original 68,500km. Motor has been rebuilt using new main bearings, new gearbox bearings, rebored to 87mm and fitted with VeeTwo forged pistons, and all new seals and gaskets. Too good to sell, but it must go!
