This 1980 Z1000ST shaft drive has 65k kms on the frame and aprx. 5000kms since expert engine rebuild by Trevor Perrott-Jones, a Kawasaki mechanic of 40-odd years. The bike hasn't been used for a year or so but is turning over fine; just wont fire due to old fuel. I will be taking bike to Trevor the mechanic for rocker-cover gasket replacement, tank / fuel cleanout, fitting of carby kit (if necessary) and anything else needed to get the bike running sweetly. Original owner set-up bike for touring & fitted homemade steel frame to rear for panniers: frame can easily be removed if necessary. Tank was also painted black at some stage. The owner before me fitted an aftermarket oil temperature gauge (see photos) so that he could just glance down to his right foot area and see temp. Original books, workshop manual & a mint dealership brochure for the bike is included. The bike is stored in Randwick, Sydney & can be viewed any day by appointment.
