This bike is unusual as it is one of 23 which started out as a 1974 bike but were plated as 1978. The bikes were built and imported for Fraser Motorcycles of Newcastle from the Ducati factory and only came to Australia. Unique features of the 1974/78 include: twin disc brembo brakes, 1978 style switch gear and blinkers, key position is located under the fuel tank, and plated 1978.
This bike has had a full maintenance and service check. 2024 improvements include: Replaced speedo and tacho cables. Front and back wheels respoked with stainless steel spokes and new wheel bearings by Ash's Spoked Wheelz. Brand new Avon Roadrider tyres. New battery. Brand new Dynatek electronic ignition and coils installed. I still have the original points and backing plate which could be reinstated and will be sold with the bike.
