Extra Information: The 1971 Honda CB750 (specifically the K1) is widely celebrated as the world's first true "superbike". Today, it remains a highly coveted and iconic classic. This is a superb example with all the hard work done and it presents beautifully.
Vendor Notes: Full ground up restoration completed in 2024. There was 23,500 miles on speedo prior to restoration. Now there is only 24,375 miles so it’s done less than 1000 miles since restoration.
Restoration work includes: Engine Head machined. Sand blasted frame. Vapour blasting and painting various parts. All engine external painted with Cerakote and Cerakote clear coated providing exceptional corrosion resistance, chemical resistance, scratch resistance and heat tolerance.
All parts replaced during the Resto were NEW and the work includes: Tyres and Tubes, Rims, Chrome Spokes, Wheel Bearings. Frame sandblasted and painted. Replaced Head Stem bearings and Swing Arm bushes. All Electrical Wiring replaced. Handle Bar Switches. Battery. Replaced Complete Headlight Assembly and attachments. Clutch, Speedo, Tacho and Throttle Cables replaced. Brake Master Cylinder, Brake Pads front and rear. Front Brake Rotor. Speedo and Tacho professionally restored. Dyna S Electronic Ignition. Blinker assemblies, Complete Rear Brake Light assembly. Frame and Engine bolt kits. Ignition Coils and Plug Leads, Ignition Switch. Rear inner Mudguard, Seat. Rear Shocks. Front Forks rebuilt with new internals, seals and rubbers. Complete Air Cleaner Housing assembly. Drive Chain and Sprockets. Carburettors vapour blasted and rebuilt including all intake rubbers. Complete set of Exhausts. New Seat. Full Engine and Transmission rebuilds. Replaced all Transmission bearings. The engine was in Extremely good condition but still replaced crank bearings, Con Rod bearings, Pistons, Rings, Inlet and Exhaust Valves, Timing and Drive chains with Guides, Rollers. Clutch Plates, Oil Pump kit overhaul. Starter Motor refurbish. Various parts Chromed and Re Chromed.
