This is a classic two stroke of the era and a delight to ride. It has plenty of power (punching above its weight) but don’t expect good fuel consumption, that was not a consideration in 1971! The twin leading shoe front drum break with standard rear drum is good in modern traffic. Handling is excellent for a Japanese bike of that period. Joe Eastmure won the Castrol 6 Hour race in 1972 (controversially) on this model in the 500cc class. The engine has been recently rebuilt and is still breaking in. The chrome is original and in very good condition with a beautiful metallic blue paint job done professionally eight years ago. The 18,126 miles on the clock. It is on club registration which is not transferable. Inspections welcome and encouraged.
