I have owned this fine machine for many years and it is very well known amongst Indian Enthusiasts. The bike left the factory as a Police Motorcycle and is presented in California Highway Patrol Livery, A personalised plate “CHIPS” is included in the sale price. I have ridden this bike in Europe and across the Nullarbor from Perth to Melbourne at freeway speeds and with no mechanical issues. The Engine is 84” but otherwise Stock. Other upgrades include a Cycle craft generator. 4 Speed Chief Overdrive Gearbox and a very effective Twin Leading Shoe Brake conversion. The tin ware is mostly original including the correct bronze welded Fuel Tanks. Police equipment includes an original brass “Pyrene” extinguisher, Flashing Pursuit Lights and correct foot operated siren [extremely loud!] There is a reliable Australian made electric starter fitted, kick start option is retained.
