This 1952 Panhead could possibly be set up originally for sidecar use because up to that year one could order one with the springer fork front end.
This bike was built in 2011 by a long-term Harley owner who also ran the mechanics school for Harley Davidson. His skill and knowledge are second to none and he has been building bikes for more than 40 years.
The bike has original forks, handlebars with steering damper and ride control, original frame, and tanks with correct badges and trim. There is original ride control and winged horn on the forks.
The rear fender has "sergeant strips" and tombstone taillight. There is also a spark plug box and a nice set of genuine Harley saddlebags of a later model, with leather back panels like the original. Also has a genuine solo seat.
Front fender is the 1949-up style and correct for 1952 with springer forks. It comes with fender trim and fender light.
Transmission is stock with hand-change tanks and correct rocker clutch with genuine footboards. Correct two-light dash has genuine speedo as well. Bike has been rewired with repro cloth covered harness.
As one can see, the motor has dual M74B carburettors and comes with a stock top end if one wishes to convert it back to stock. Top pans are genuine stainless steel models and correct D rings.
This is a great chance to own a very unique example of a 1952 Panhead.
