United We Ride returns for 2026
On the back of a successful debut that saw more than 3,000 riders take part and $160,000 raised for The Salvation Army, Harley-Davidson’s ‘United We Ride’ is returning for 2026. To be held on Saturday, 12 September at participating Harley-Davidson dealerships across Australia and New Zealand, United We Ride welcomes all motorcyclists to register, raise funds and ride for this important charity.

Bringing together the Harley-Davidson dealer network, Harley Owners Group chapters, Harley enthusiasts and riders of other motorcycle brands, the inaugural edition of United We Ride has been described as a flagship national moment for the riding community.
As in 2025, this year’s United We Ride will be co-ordinated by participating dealers, starting and finishing at the dealership, using local knowledge to pick the best route. Each ride kicks off at 11:00AM (9:00AM WA, 1:00PM NZ local time) and is open to all motorcyclists who register – not just Harley-Davidson owners.

Top fundraiser in the inaugural 2025 event, Darren Fairhall, said: “I felt as though it was somewhere I could give back - that I knew it was going to go somewhere good.
“It wasn’t like I was dropping the money into the charity box at the end of the street… it was going into something that a lot of people have put a lot of effort into and can really benefit from. Everything they’re (The Salvation Army) doing to help people who are in more difficult situations than us, it’s a great cause.
“Hopefully we can raise even more this year and help the people out there that are in vulnerable situations.”

To take part in this year’s United We Ride, simply register for a ride in your area – individually or as a team – at www.unitedwerideanz.com, and start raising funds to support The Salvation Army (a minimum donation of $20 is required to participate). You can either make a donation yourself, or call on friends, family and colleagues for support. Contributions will be accepted up to the event date (12 September), with prizes on offer for top fundraisers including a new Harley-Davidson motorcycle.
