Triple Shot Super Show preview
Presented by the Sydney Machina Social Club, the Triple Shot Super Show promises to be big: so big, in fact, it’ll be held over two days – 23 and 24 November – at the St. Ives showgrounds (18km north of Sydney CBD).
Day 1, Saturday 23 November, is a family-friendly day with food trucks, a bar, live music from the Cruisin’ Deuces, a movie car display and rides and amusements for the kids. The day culminates with a special drive-in open-air cinema. Public entry is free, but there is a charge for the open-air cinema - $20/car and $10/non-car entry.
Day 2, Sunday 24 November, is the big Show & Shine, which kicks off with a free Super Cruz from various locations to the St. Ives showgrounds. Show & Shine entry is $15/bike pre-entry or $20/bike at the gate, with discounts for clubs (pre-entry closes 31 October). Public entry on Sunday is $5/person with free entry for kids under 5.
Show & Shine entrants will have the chance to win $500 for the Machine of the Show. A special red-carpet display of rare, classic and desirable vehicles – including 10 ‘Super Star Motorcycles’ - will be doing demo start-ups throughout the day, while the Shannons Ultimate Ride Experience will offer the chance to ride in a classic car.
A swap meet, special presentations and short films will be held throughout the day, too.
The Cruisin’ Deuces will fire up again on Sunday and the bar, gourmet food trucks and kids amusements will also return. There’s also a billy cart derby and free face painting, a super hero dress-up competition and plenty more.
All proceeds from the weekend will go to Bear Cottage and Cure Brain Cancer charities.
