Following the announcement that Jimmy Barnes will perform at the MotoGP Grand Prix of Australia 2026 on Saturday, 24 October, more entertainment has been added to the programme at Phillip Island. Aussie rockers Jet will keep the revs going with a high-octane performance after the MotoGP race on Sunday, 25 October.
Jet are no strangers to a trackside concert, having played at the Australian Formula 1 Grand Prix in 2024, delivering a hit-filled set following Saturday’s on-track qualifying sessions. This year, they’ll be trading four wheels for two as they bring the energy from the track to the main stage, closing out Sunday’s race day with a live set.
"We’re excited to get down to Phillip Island, and can’t wait to perform for the MotoGP crowds," said Jet frontman, Nic Cester.
More than two decades after their multi-platinum debut album Get Born launched them from Melbourne pubs onto the world stage, Jet remains one of Australian rock n roll’s great international success stories. Access to the Jet concert after the on-track action is included in the price for all Sunday tickets. Sunday pricing starts at $99 for an Island Pass (General Admission), but with this year’s Grand Prix being the last at Phillip Island, many ticket options, including grandstand and VIP hospitality, have already sold out.
