Yet the liquid cooled VTX's giant proportions and V-twin power grab attention with more than looks alone. The VTX's engine was specially designed to provide one of the largest displacements in its class, coupled with remarkably high power and torque to excite the rider with a solid pull of strong acceleration from virtually anywhere in its powerband. Its beautifully styled cylinders each carry a monstrous 101mm piston while its quiet, maintenance free shaft final drive keeps everything rolling smoothly on down the road.

This American styled custom cruiser is certainly rugged in looks, yet its smooth-shifting transmission complements the engine's power output with a carefully selected range of gear ratios to deliver performance and relaxed cruising.
Like many of Honda's top end bikes, fuel is delivered by an advanced dual throttle body PGM-FI fuel injection system. The frame, complete with big inverted front forks and dual-damper rear suspension, is designed to stand up to the immense power of the VTX's engine while providing both an aggressively 'long and low' cruising form and confident handling to meet the demands of a wide range of riding styles.

The VTX1800 has a recommended retail of $23,390 plus on road costs.
