The tour, scheduled to run from mid-August to early September, came about after several BSA Club members here in Australia contacted Get Routed wanting to attend the Rally.
While details of the itinerary are still being finalised, the basic plan will cover flights to the UK (Manchester) on August 14, then on to Birmingham for a half day at the UK Motorcycle Museum. From there, the tour party will fly to the Isle of Man for 14 nights, taking in the BSA International Rally, scheduled for August 16-23, and the Manx GP.London will be the next stop, allowing tourers to take in the Beaulieu Museum and Sammy Miller's Racing Museum, a trip to the revitalised Ace Cafe, with a visit to the London Motorcycle Museum possibly squeezed in before flying out on September 3.For true BSA enthusiasts, this tour represents the trip of a lifetime and shouldn't be missed. Get Routed are also hosting tours to the USA in June 2008 to coincide with Harley-Davidson's 105th Anniversary celebrations.
