Biaggi confirmed for Suzuki World SBK. December 2006
The Italian will partner incumbent rider Yukio Kagayama in the factory squad.
"I have always followed the World Superbike Championship and my view is that it is an extremely exciting championship", Biaggi - in PR speak - commented. "I am determined as ever, and really want to win the Superbike World Championship. This is probably the biggest challenge of my sporting career."
Team owner, Francis Batta and CEO of FGSport, Paolo Alberto Flammini, were equally upbeat about the addition of Biaggi to World Supers, believing the Italian will be a big draw for the series.
