For younger drivers you can leave it in 1st gear and not change the gear at all. For older drivers they may select any gear when they are driving, or start off in second gear and dont change the gears at all when in motion. This years model also comes with a remote control kill switch meaning you can kill the engine remotely. We recommend this particular item to average sized kids aged 5-10yrs old.
