We no longer need this bike now as it was our teams spare bike and we didnt end up needing it this year. This USA RACE Model has many substantial advantages over the Australian version. Noise and emission laws are more relaxed in the U.S, and this allows them to utilize a much more free-flowing and compact sized (Lighter) exhaust system, compared to the very restrictive and much larger (and Heavier) AUS Model. You would have seen other CRF racers around the pits that have drilled holes in their side plates and this is too allow more air into the restrictive AUS Spec Air box, this isn’t an issue on these USA bikes as they have a well ventilated air box from factory, giving the bike as much air as possible, increasing horsepower and saving you many dollars on air box upgrades. The 2012 CRF 250R received many upgrades and benefits over the already highly refined 2011 model. These upgrades included: A new cylinder head and 46mm throttle body produce more low-end and midrange torque that will propel you out of corners faster and easier than ever before. All new suspension linkage to provide a more progressive feel over the previous models, and to compliment the linkage, updated suspension settings front and rear make the 2012 CRF handle more precisely than ever before. Re-designed foot pegs are longer and wider and provide much more support, and new Dunlop MX51 tyres replace the old style 742 and 756. Overall, this 2012 CRF250R U.S.A RACE model is race ready and will be a very competitive bike in stock form.
