Seller's Description
2008 SUZUKI VZR1800 M109R BOULEVARD,The soul of any bike is its engine and, in this case, it's a monstrous 1,783-cc (that's 109 cubic inches in Harley-speak) V-twin that thinks it's a race bike. Oh, below 4,000 rpm, it does that rumpa-rumpa V-twin beat that is essential to pleasing the fat tire crowd. However, just when most big-inch twins are starting to fade above 5,000 rpm, the M109 comes into its own. Like those GSX-R superbikes the M109R absolutely loves to rev. Above 5,000, the exhaust note sounds like a NASCAR racer pulling out of the draft to slingshot into first place. The engine seems to grow an extra cylinder and it screams to an un-cruiser-like 7,500-rpm redline. Suzuki claims 127 horsepower at 6,200 rpm. It feels like more. The entire plot feels like no other cruiser, almost as if Ducati designed the big-inch twin. For instance, there's far less flywheel effect than virtually all other cruisers (and, yes, that includes Harley's V-Rod), so, unlike the rather lethargic throttle response of most customs, the M109R's 1,783 cubic centimetres respond instantly.
