Purchased new (one owner – me!), this baby was set-up new by a Yamaha-dealership manager as a rider’s bike (top performance and no passenger) and it’s been lovingly kept that way. This bike is, without doubt, one of the sweetest bike’s I’ve thrown a leg over in 35+ years riding.
A real rocket (I can personally vouch that she’ll do in excess of 247 km/h), handles like it has a psychic connection and is as balanced as an Helvetian timepiece, she’s never been raced, never been dropped and is in beautiful condition.
She’s been stored and unridden for the last 18 months - so she’s currently unregistered and will need a complete service (w/- full fluid change) before riding.
Price? – Depends how you want to go …

Reason for sale? (and I can’t stress just how absolutely reluctant this sale is - I love this bike!) … I hate to admit it but, decades of clip-ons & rear-sets have taken their toll on this body and it’s now time for a less aggressive riding position – if I had the means, I’d keep this baby, but her sale will necessarily fund the new project bike.
… plus, to be honest, this bike was born to be ridden and truly deserves a rider younger than I now am, to fully appreciate all her charms.
