is a rare version that was enhanced by the Suzuki factory with wire wheels and other improvements/modifications for production racing in Australia. These bikes are often referred to using the Suzuki country code for Australia which is E24. This bike is currently on club registration. Compliance date - 03/83 Odometer, VIN/Frame - GS10X-500772, Engine - GS10X-102939. Apparently only 3000 of the GSX1000SD's were made in 1983 and of these 206 came to Australia. In 1984 the capacity limit for production racing was reduced to 750cc hence the 1000cc version became redundant.
