For sale is my rare and classic 1983 Honda XR350.
I purchased this bike sight unseen from Newcastle NSW a month or so ago. As great as the bike is, unfortunately it is too big for me, it’s not the weight that is the issue it is the height. I am 172cm tall and find it too tall to handle confidently on the dirt. Some time ago I had an XL350 which was fine, I was simply not prepared for how much more “jacked” the XR’s are. I recently bought an XR250 which is much more suitable…

The bike has recently had a complete top end rebuild by a professional Honda mechanic and has had the rest of the bike restored by the previous owner himself. Everything is in good to very good condition. The frame has been painted however as you can see there are a few scratches on the frame as the engine was taken in and out. Sprockets and chain are in good condition. The tyres are old so will likely need replacing if you are planning on doing some serious off road riding. The plastics are great for their age but have do have a few scratches as you would expect. The front brakes are spongy but I suspect just need to be re-bled. No rust.
Wiring is there to be set-up for on road riding if you wish. Bike also comes with a spare rear wheel and bash plate along with a few other parts as shown. Bike does not come with a speedo.
Mechanically this bike is A1. Starts first time which is impressive for these aging bikes and has a really nice tone to it.
A solid vintage Honda which is ready to be ridden off road or with a bit of simple effort, would be good to ride on road.
