Seller's Description
Rickman Enfield Interceptor - one of 130 ever built
The Rickman Interceptor was always going to be a rare and valuable motorcycle - but to find one as a restoration project is even more rare.
And with selling prices of around $29500 or so, (as per the last one here on Just Bikes), there is a lot of value in this bike.
Obviously a project, but all of the important items are there, the original Borrani flanged alloy wheels with the gold hubs, AP Lockheed Racing brakes, big front forks, original tank & seat unit etc. etc.
The Rickman nickle plated frame is in really nice condition with just a small area of cosmetic dulling under the motor - very hard to see without getting down alongside the bike. It's fine as it is, or could be redone if a concours bike is your thing.
She will need an engine and gearbox rebuild (the engine cases are empty at present). The engine and gearbox components are with the bike, and some new parts are there, they're just boxed up at present.
All parts are available from specialists here, or the UK. The bike will also need a wiring loom, headlamp shell and some other small fittings.
The photos tell the story of the bike (the green bungee cord is there as she's missing the spring for the stand!).
