1968 Benelli Leoncino Scrambler ``Hunters Special``, this is an extremely rare model that was produced in very limited numbers exclusively for the North American market. The current owner was advised that less than 50 of these bikes were ever produced, but if anyone can assist with additional information of the model please feel welcome to contact. And we shall update the add accordingly. This bike was owned previously by a collector in Italy who had it parked in his living room. It was always properly maintained and stored since new. Its condition can be described as truly exceptional for a 49 year old motorcycle. Mileage looks to be original at 1,710 miles. The bike starts on the first or second kick and below is a video of a genuine cold start and idle. The owner believes the paint is original, as are emblems and decals, and similarly believe the tyres are still the factory originals. This ``Hunters Special`` was fitted with dual rear sprocket arrangement; a smaller sprocket for riding on country roads, but if you wanted to go off-road you could switch to a larger sprocket to attack more rugged trails.
