Restoration. New components as follows - wiring loom - control cables - speedo cables and gear drive - steering bearing - front shock absorber and spring - new headlight unit - sourced replacement speedo - tyres and tubes (have new tyre and tube for spare wheel) Original engine was beyond repair so replacement found and rebuilt but too slow/dangerous so a 1961 VNB 125 was sourced from Ros Leotta (Brisbane Vintage Vespa mechanic) as a completely rebuilt engine and dropped in, maintaining the 3 speed and 8 inch wheels. Replaced ignition with SIP vape 12V ignition and SIP 2.0 exhaust, so runs really well and reliable cruiser. Would make the perfect ride to commute around the suburbs or inner city with heaps of style, you'll be late to work everyday from people wanting to chat, ask me how I know!!
