The TR6 was an upgraded version of the famous TR5 Competition model, developed basically for the Big Bear Run in the USA 100 mile race across the Mojave Desert, winning numerous times and ridden in these events by Steve McQueen and Bud Ekins who also rode a 1967 Trophy over the fence in "The Great Escape". This motorcycle is restored to Concourse standard and won 3rd Prize in the Classic Section of the 2010 Laverda Concourse.
