Frame TC11141, Engine TR5 9106134 Built 17/5/49 and fitted with optional Sprung Hub. (info from Harry Woolridge 21/1/94) One of 457 built. Restoration was begun by Dr Ollie Fuller sometime around 1994. Bought in March 2019. Some work had already been done. Engine rebuilt by John Booker, Gearbox rebuilt (I believe) by Bruce McKenzie. Forks had been painted and assembled. Frame and a lot of miscellaneous parts were in primer. Guards and exhaust pipe were in raw metal. Mudguard, chainguard, toolbox, oil tank and exhaust fit completed. Engine and gearbox were then removed from frame. Frame and ancillaries were painted and reassembled. New SS rim laced into front hub. Rear wheel also has SS rim/spokes. Bike was completed and fired up on 23/9/22. First run was the VVMCC Mannum Run 3/10/22. Recently won Best Bike at Moonta Show’n’Shine. Currently has rigid rear wheel but Mk 1 Sprung hub can be included in the sale.
