Motorcycle: 1000cc, IOE (Inlet-over-Exhaust) twin; 3-sp gearbox. Sidecar: Custom-built; Jim Borman design; fabricated in Toowoomba circa 1975. HISTORY: This outfit combination is part of a private collection being sold owing to advancing age of owner, who has ridden outfits since 1959. The current owner understands that this machine was originally sold by a Toowoomba company, Rollinson Motors, Margaret Street, Toowoomba to the first owner, who used it with a sidecar in Narrabri, NSW for many years as a general goods delivery vehicle. After many years in storage, the motorcycle found its way to McLeod Bros, in Brisbane, from whom the current owner purchased it in poor condition in 1972. It was then stripped, rebuilt, and re-painted in its current grey/ pinstriped historic colours, and the sidecar was fabricated and fitted in 1975. The motorcycle is in running order, very original, low-stressed and reliable. Both motorcycle and sidecar are in good condition. This outfit is located in Toowoomba, Queensland.
