Moto Guzzi Owners’ Association of New South Wales 100th Anniversary Ride
Motociclo, in collaboration with the Moto Guzzi Owners’ Association of New South Wales (MGOANSW), are hosting a celebration for Moto Guzzi’s centenary, with a special ‘100th Anniversary Ride’ and display day in NSW this Sunday, 5 December. All Moto Guzzi owners and enthusiasts are invited to attend the 100th Anniversary Ride - a relaxed, fun day in tribute to the famous Italian motorcycle brand.
The day will commence with an informal gathering and bike display at Harry’s Café de Wheels in Tempe from 8:30AM.
At 9:30AM sharp, the assembled riders will head south, through the Royal National Park, to the Headlands Hotel at Austinmer Beach (approx. 1 hour south of Tempe) for a second static display on the grassed beachfront area in front of the hotel. The Headlands Hotel is a family-friendly venue, so kids are welcome, but adults will have to show proof of their double COVID-19 vaccination to enter. If you intend to have lunch at the venue, dining space is limited, so email the MGOANSW’s Gregg Jones ([email protected]) to confirm availability and allow the club to book enough dining space.
For attending riders, there will be prizes up for grabs across a range of categories, while a very limited number of event t-shirts are available - for $30 each - through Motociclo and the MGOANSW.
The display at the Headlands ends the official proceedings, so riders can stay and dine, have a drink, ride on, or make their way home. The Moto Guzzi 100th Anniversary Ride on Sunday, 5 December, remains subject to the latest COVID-19 developments, so keep an eye on the Motociclo Facebook page HERE for updates.
