Concours 2018 30th Anniversary
Presented by Club Laverda Qld Inc (CLQ), with the support of Shannons Insurance, the Concours is a static motorcycle display offering up to 60 trophies and $2,000 prize money for the best machine entered on the day. The event is one of the only of its kind in Australia and is held at The Cleveland Showgrounds in Brisbane, engaging exhibitors and motorcycle enthusiasts from the entire east cost and beyond. Proceeds on the day go towards raising money for our chosen charity, the Make A Wish Foundation. Over the past 13 years CLQ has given some $85,000 to this worthy charity. All bikes that are entered into the show must move their vehicle by pushing only, the registration desk is open from 7am and entries are closed at 10.30am. Judging will commence after that and all winners will be announced at the trophy presentation.
All vehicles must remain in the judging area until 2.00pm and moved only if necessary. When a vehicle must be moved the owner must go the Administration Office so that Administration can arrange for a Club Laverda Event Staff member to manage the removal of the vehicle. The vehicle must be moved by pushed. Club Laverda Qld Inc cannot allow the owner to start and ride the vehicle out of the judging area. If a vehicle must be removed from the judging area the vehicle departure must be via the driveway to the east (past the toilet block). Any departure via the roofed plaza past the Administration Office is NOT allowed. If the owner of the vehicle wishes to put their machine onto the DYNO they must also arrange for the vehicle to be moved as stated above. The vehicle must be pushed to driveway and then ridden to the DYNO via the motorcycle parking access to the DYNO. Basically, if the wheels are on the grass in the concours area, the engine must be OFF.
CONCOURS attracts motorcycle trade stalls (30 approx.), motorcycle enthusiast club displays (35 approx.), and motorcycle enthusiasts both local and interstate. If you would like to be involved in the show or you know someone who would like to present their business at the event, please get in touch with our events management staff.
The event is a fun family day out and as such is alcohol free. Admission is free to children under the age of 15 years and $10 for all other patrons. Admission includes on-site motorcycle parking.

The decision to postpone will be made on Friday afternoon. Visit us at http://clublaverdaqld.com.au for information regarding postponement in the days prior to the event.
