Camp Quality Convoy Victoria
After a year off, the Camp Quality Convoy Victoria hits the road again on Sunday, 7 April. An event that welcomes motorcycles and trucks, the last Camp Quality Convoy Victoria saw dozens of bikes and more than 300 trucks take part, raising funds for Camp Quality’s programmes and services for children (13 and younger) growing up with cancer and their families. Based on feedback from the 2017 event, this year’s convoy will see a change to the programme, in the form of a show ‘n’ shine being added to the day. All motorcycles and trucks are welcome to take part in the convoy, which starts at Avalon Airport near Geelong, touring the region before returning to Avalon for the show ‘n’ shine and a range of family-friendly activities, including face-painting for the kids and a raffle. The convoy departs from the Viva Energy refinery at Avalon at 8:00AM, returning by approximately 12 Noon, with the day wrapping up at 3:00PM. Convoy entry is just $25 per bike ($50 per truck). Public entry to the show ‘n’ shine is by gold coin donation. An auction to win the ‘lead bike’ position in the convoy will be held on 28 March – 6:00PM to 9:00PM - at White Rabbit Barrel Hall, Little Creatures Brewery, Geelong.
