Seller's Description
This is a 99% original matching numbers example of the last of the Tridents and as such has a reliable electric starter, left foot gear change and front and rear disc brakes. This actual machine is to being featured in an up-coming article in the UK’s ‘Real Classic’ magazine. The Trident and Rocket 3 owners club records confirm that the engine was built on 7 July 1975 and the completed machine shipped to Australia around the end of that month. The machine has all the original factory transfers on it and is standard specification apart from a ‘date box’ air cleaner, oil pressure gauge, mufflers (originals come with the bike) and a Boyer electronic ignition. It has done 900 kms on a rebuilt top end, new valves, guides and 20th o/s pistons. The tank has been resprayed by Reflex Graphics and most of the rubber mountings etc have been replaced along with a new front tyre (rear has about 75% tread). It starts first ‘hit’ of the starter button hot or cold and rides extremely well. The bike is currently on non-transferable historic registration.
